Gifts are piled under the Christmas tree. Jul-Nisse is a gnome said to dwell in an attic or barn. Rice pudding is left for him. He is a red-capped and bearded gnome and is on Christmas cards and decorations.

Anden Juledag: Second Christmas Day, is celebrated by dancing, theatres, and concerts

Foods: Risengrød, rice pudding with cinnamon, marzipan fruit, roast goose, browned potatoes, red cabbage and currant jelly, apple cake, fruits, and nuts. (6)
